In addition to being by far the largest producer of bakery products in the Croatian market, with revenues about two and a half times higher than Pan-Pek, the next largest player in that segment, Mlinar Group is also the largest bakery industry in the region. The Group’s members, Mlinar Croatia, Mlinar Slovenia, and the company Hleb i kifle, which operates in Serbia, cover a market of 16 million inhabitants. Last year, the Group achieved a record 163.3 million euros in revenue, which is a growth of 17.6 percent compared to 2022. The beginning of this year, however, indicated that Mlinar Group’s revenue would grow at approximately the same rate this year, as the revenue of the first quarter of this year exceeded the same period last year by 18 percent.

Mlinar Group has a total of 306 of its own sales outlets, of which 252 are in Croatia, five production facilities in two countries, and a franchise network of 20 sales outlets in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to sales in its own retail network and retail chains in Croatia and the region, an important part of the business also represents exports to markets such as Romania, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, and South Korea. Last year, the Group increased its export revenue by 38 percent.
