Infinum: The first development agency to receive the Employer Partner certificate

This week, Infinum received its first Employer Partner certificate, awarded by SELECTIO Group, the largest HR consulting group in Croatia, for the past 20 years. Thus, the largest domestic IT agency has become the only development agency recognized for high-quality human resource management.

Increasing investments in HR development in the IT scene

Employer Partner is the most prestigious regional certificate for excellence in HR, currently counting around a hundred holders from over 10 industries. SELECTIO Group emphasizes that the IT industry is experiencing the largest increase in certificate holders in 2024, indicating growing investments in HR development in the IT scene.

To meet high HR standards, all certificate holders had to undergo a detailed evaluation of their human resource management systems, assessing employee experience in seven key areas and ten key HR topics. For Infinum, which currently operates in eight offices in Europe and the USA and has over 400 employees, this meant that a team of experts from SELECTIO Group gained insight into all HR processes, which were then compared to established standards. The standards follow the well-known Employer Partner methodology, under which over 20,000 HR system evaluations have been conducted to date.

Most sought-after skills: critical thinking, communication, and mentoring

– Infinum has shown that it nurtures a healthy work environment where talented employees such as engineers, analysts, designers, and business professionals can reach their full potential and enjoy numerous benefits. They particularly stand out for their developed culture of knowledge sharing, evident through Infinum Academy, free programming, design, and project management courses organized by the agency since 2015. Such practices are an excellent example for all companies for whom innovation and continuous development are prerequisites for business results – emphasized Lara Šubić Šuša, project manager of the Employer Partner project from SELECTIO Group.

At Infinum, employees have the opportunity to develop competencies tailored to digitalization, market trends, and new job requirements. The competencies they particularly develop are critical thinking, communication, and mentoring, which are also highly sought after in the labor market, and all Infinum employees have the opportunity to develop them internally.

The analysis of Infinum’s HR system also showed extremely high employee satisfaction with the quality of communication with managers. Employees noted that they feel free to seek help, ask for support, provide feedback, and know that mistakes are part of the learning process.

All employees received raises, bonuses, or rewards based on work performance and individual contributions

Of course, the quality of HR is reflected in financial terms. Therefore, in the past year, almost all employees received raises, bonuses, or rewards based on work performance and individual contributions. A large number of material and non-material benefits are available to everyone, and various flexible work arrangements are in place to help employees achieve a better balance between private and professional life. Free education on mental and physical health topics, subsidized psychotherapy, and regular lectures on various topics that can help employees make their work more quality and enjoyable are also available.
