The average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for February this year amounted to 1,439 euros, which is nominally 2.1 percent higher compared to January and 11.4 percent higher compared to February of last year.
According to data from the City Office for Economy, Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Planning, the highest average monthly net salary in legal entities for February was paid in the production of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations, amounting to 3,228 euros.
The lowest salary, on the other hand, was paid in the production of leather and related products, amounting to 855 euros.
The median net salary for February was 1,186 euros, which means that half of the employees earned less and half earned more than that amount.
Compared to the average monthly salary for February at the national level, which amounted to 1,248 euros, the average Zagreb net salary paid for that month was higher by 191 euros.
The average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for February this year amounted to 2,041 euros, which is an increase of 2.7 percent compared to January and an increase of 11.4 percent compared to February 2023.
