Eight Young STEM Talents Sought to Kickstart Their Careers Through the A1 Start Program

Young STEM talents seeking their first permanent employment in their field to apply their academic knowledge in practice have the opportunity to become part of the fourth generation of the A1 Start program and begin their careers at A1 Hrvatska.

The A1 Start program is intended for graduates, diploma holders, and those who have completed their studies in the last 12 months, from the fields of STEM or social sciences, who expect a structured introduction to their first job and employer support in realizing their full potential and preparing for further career development.

A1 Hrvatska is looking for eight young talents, A1 Start participants, to strengthen areas such as Data Science, Data Analytics, ICT, Strategy & Business Transformation, and Finance & Purchasing, and applications are open until June 2.

By entering the A1 Start program, participants receive permanent employment on a full-time basis, along with numerous benefits. Additionally, during the first year of work in the company, they can expect support from experienced mentors and teams, an education plan tailored to their needs, and clearly defined goals and a development plan that prepares them for continued career advancement at A1.

A1 Start participants do not need to have prior work experience; they are only expected to have an affinity for new technologies and a desire for continuous development of their knowledge and skills. It is important that they demonstrate proactivity, initiative, and openness to working in teams.

The first steps at A1 are an opportunity for them to apply their academic knowledge to real, innovative projects and thus grow professionally and develop their skills using the most advanced digital technologies. The call for A1 Start is open until June 2, by which time interested candidates must fill out a short application form and submit their CV and cover letter, indicating the team they would like to work in. Following this, a selection process will take place, and A1 Start participants will begin work on October 1. Applications for the A1 Start program are submitted via the link.

A1 Hrvatska has ranked first among the most desirable employers in the ICT and telco sector in Croatia this year, according to the independent national survey ‘Employer of Choice’ conducted throughout the year on the MojPosao portal.
