ING-GRAD, a company with over 35 years of experience, more than 200 employees, and 200 completed projects, encourages young people to choose careers in the construction industry. ING-GRAD offers interested students from vocational high schools in the fields of masonry, carpentry, reinforcement, drywall assembly, and facade work scholarships as well as paid internships with professional mentorship, opportunities for advancement, and insight into new construction technologies, which consequently leads to employment opportunities in their company upon graduation.
In addition, ING-GRAD gladly supports many commendable projects and conferences that gather young talents from Croatia. They sponsored the first ‘Strukovizija’ held on April 19 in Čakovec, aimed at promoting vocational professions and encouraging students to choose vocational education. From May 13 to 15, they will again be a partner in the national competition for vocational school students called WorldSkills Croatia 2024, and they will also present themselves to students at the job fair at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, an event named GRADify, which takes place on May 25.
– We believe that investing in talented young people who will soon enter the labor market should start from their secondary education, providing them with quality growth, development, and insight into new working technologies. For all these reasons, we are always happy to support projects and conferences aimed specifically at young people, and we also design programs such as scholarships and paid internships to engage them in choosing a career in construction, ” said mr. oec. Branislav Brizar, founder and owner of ING-GRAD.
