A Bounty of Good Advice

As part of the finals of the AI Business Hackathon, a round table of mentors and sponsors was held, featuring Alojzije Jukić, director of Comping; Nino Surjan, consultant from Koios; Darko Jovišić, director and co-owner of Robotiq.ai; and Vedran Antoljak, a business consultant who moderated the discussion on ‘What the teams participating in the competition did well and what they could improve’.

– I was impressed by the breadth of thinking and the large number of ideas from the participants of the first AI Business Hackathon, and I was particularly struck by the teams that managed to come up with concrete solutions, products that are practically ready for the market in just one month – said Jukić.

At the round table, advice was also given to the teams on what they could have done better. Panelists advised the teams to pay more attention to the aesthetics of their solutions, to work more thoughtfully on scaling their businesses, to systematically seek potential investors, to clearly define return on investment, to pay more attention to legal issues and intellectual property problems, and generally, to the regulations of the industries for which they are trying to design solutions based on artificial intelligence.
