Digital Innovation Incubator powered by Hrvatski Telekom invites all interested parties to join and actively participate in the development of innovative projects through a program that will guide them step by step from the initial idea to the final solution.
Elementary and high school students will develop innovative projects in areas that interest them, while university students will be able to choose from 7 industries and companies – ICT and Hrvatski Telekom, beverage industry and Jamnica, media industry and Nova TV, financial industry and Raiffeisen Bank, energy industry and E.ON, publishing industry and Školska knjiga, and health industry and Poliklinika Sinteza. This approach allows young people to tailor their experience to their own interests and to engage in the challenge of innovating within a specific area and sector they like. Additionally, it enables them to gain insight into the workings of various industries and develop projects with the potential to create real change.
Throughout the duration of the project, all participants will have access to educational materials through which they can expand their horizons and develop an innovative mindset and skills that will help them in the future, and alongside students, their perspectives and knowledge will be shared by professors from renowned universities such as Harvard Business School, Bocconi University, ETH Zurich, while students will gain insight into the entrepreneurial world from speakers such as Dario Marčac (TikTok), Sasha Sekovanec (Rimac Group), Damir Sabol (Google), and others.
The best teams will be rewarded in a grand finale, where the top three teams in the categories of elementary and high schools and in each industry will be announced. Additionally, a special grand prize awaits the best student team, which will win €3,000 and free tickets, travel, and accommodation for the Web Summit in Portugal, one of the most prestigious technology events. Of course, this year will also see the announcement of the best ‘Innovator Mentor’ and the award for ‘School for Innovation’, highlighting those who create an innovative environment for students, encourage a research spirit, and apply a multidisciplinary approach to learning.
