The Management and Supervisory Board of Hrvatski Telekom propose to the General Assembly the distribution of net profit from 2023 in such a way that part of the net profit amounting to 119.3 million euros is used for the payment of dividends to shareholders, in the amount of 1.53 euros per share, while the remaining part of the net profit amounting to 5.8 million euros is distributed to retained earnings.
The amount of 1.53 euros represents a dividend payout ratio relative to the company’s realized profit of 95.3 percent and a growth of 39.1 percent compared to the previous year, making it the highest dividend amount in the last 11 years. Based on yesterday’s last share price of 29.7 euros, this represents a dividend yield of 5.2 percent.
According to the published financial calendar, the General Assembly is planned to be convened on May 8, 2024. In accordance with the proposal, the aforementioned dividend is planned to be paid on May 20, 2024, to all shareholders registered in the Central Clearing Depository (SKDD) on the record date of May 13, 2024. The date from which the company’s shares will be traded without the right to dividend payment is May 10, 2024.
For 2024, the Management currently expects a dividend payment of at least 0.80 euros per share. The Management will monitor the effects of various parameters that may impact the dividend movement and propose a final amount.
At yesterday’s meeting, the Supervisory Board of HT approved the revised annual financial statements of the Company and the consolidated financial statements of the HT Group for the 2023 business year and informed the Management of the approval given.
