This tourist season, Mon Perin Camp in Bale enters with a newly built complex featuring an indoor and outdoor heated seawater pool, spa–area, a space for medical and therapeutic activities, and a hall for events and other activities. The new wellness-center is one of the projects from last year’s investment by Mon Perin amounting to 14 million euros aimed at improving the accommodation capacities and services of Mon Perin Camp for its repositioning as a camping resort.
In its five-year business plan, Mon Perin has outlined an investment cycle of a total of 40 million euros for the development of the camping resort, which includes increasing the number of luxury mobile homes, developing infrastructure, and generally raising the quality of the offered services. The first investment cycle, amounting to 7.5 million euros, was initiated and completed for the 2022 season, and included the conversion of part of the camp into a luxury zone with 15 mobile homes with private pools, an additional pool with a slide as part of a themed water park, ten mobile homes with jacuzzis, etc. The second cycle, amounting to 14 million euros, which includes the wellness-center, was launched before last year’s tourist season, and its results are already very visible.
Mon Perin, which besides the four-star camp with nearly 900 accommodation units also operates two smaller five-star facilities, recorded a strong revenue growth (43.5 percent) last year, amounting to 14.7 million euros. Compared to 2022, profit increased even more strongly (64 percent), reaching 5.2 million euros.
As announced by the management of Mon Perin, led by Massimo Piutti, plans are in place for the upcoming period to redesign parts of the camp with smaller plots into zones with spacious mobile/glamping homes and further investment in camp facilities.
