The bankruptcy administrator of Coning, the company of former minister and deputy prime minister Radimir Čačić, submitted a report to the court on the state of the bankruptcy estate, according to which assets worth around 14.85 million euros have been liquidated so far, while real estate worth 1.73 million euros has not yet been liquidated.
The most expensive liquidated property was the Pagus hotel, which was sold to Rudan for 34.25 million kuna (4.54 million euros), or 75 percent of the determined value of the property of 45.62 million kuna. The second most valuable was the Trakošćan hotel sold to Adriatic Tourist Resorts for 29.05 million kuna, although the initially determined value of the property was 55.27 million kuna, followed by the Zelena punta apartment complex, Kukljica on the island of Ugljan, sold to Adriatic Tourist Resorts for 26.52 million kuna.
The restaurant, pavilions, and several developed plots in Sveti Juraj were sold to Rudan for 13.21 million kuna, which is an amount higher than the initially determined value of 9.79 million kuna, and among the list of seventeen liquidated properties, a business building in the center of Varaždin and the former headquarters of Coning was liquidated for 3.53 million, which was only a quarter of its determined value.
The Vratnik motel was sold for 1.6 million kuna, ten business premises in Varaždin’s Pavlinska Street were liquidated for 1.29 million kuna, and the Senj bowling alley and surrounding plots were the last property on the list, sold for more than a million kuna, specifically for 1,023,221 kuna. As part of the sale of Coning’s real estate – two cars, a cargo vehicle, and one tractor were liquidated on the ‘drum’, and particularly highlighted, as stated, is the Benetau Oceanis 411 Clipper yacht – Con Iva sold for 222,002 kuna (excluding VAT) or for 50 percent of the estimated value.
