Construction work on a new business building for the company Odašiljači i veze (OIV) began in Zadar on Tuesday, with a total value of 2.3 million euros, carried out by the company Graditelj svratišta, OIV announced.

The construction of a commercial-business building with an area of 2,084 square meters and storage space totaling 1,185 square meters is planned, divided into three parts. The first phase will include the construction of the business building, operational-storage, and office spaces, while the second and third phases will involve the construction of closed and open storage, the state company announced.

The President of OIV, Mate Botica, and Management Board member Denis Nikola Kulišić visited the site of the future business building at Gaženička cesta bb, while OIV experts officially introduced the contractor to the job.

The ceremony at the location of the new facility was attended by the State Secretary in the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Josip Bilaver, as well as representatives of the local government who contributed to the realization of this project, including County Prefect Božidar Longin, Deputy County Prefect Šime Vicković, Mayor of the City of Zadar Branko Dukić, Deputy Mayor Ante Babić, Head of Spatial Planning and Construction Darko Kasap, as well as representatives of the contractor, supervision, and designer.

– I am glad that Zadar has been chosen for the new modern logistics center for Dalmatia. This investment also shows that OIV is developing in the right way and becoming a high-tech company that follows the development of new technologies and trends, which ultimately means better and higher quality service for all our citizens – said Bilaver.
