Dragutin Kamenski, owner of the construction company Kamgrad, will not engage in Dinamo’s Management Board, he told Lider after we called him regarding the information published on the portal Index.hr that he is a possible candidate for a member of that body of the Zagreb club.
– I really love Dinamo, I am ready to help, but due to my obligations at Kamgrad, I currently cannot engage in the club’s Management Board – said Kamenski.
He mentioned that he wanted to run for a member of the Assembly on the list of 35 candidates selected by the club’s Executive Board, then still under the presidency of Mirko Barišić, but as he said, based on nine cheat sheets, his candidacy was crossed out.
– So much for the previous democracy in the club – commented Kamenski.
To remind, the new president of Dinamo is the legendary footballer of the club Velimir Zajec, who after more than two decades won against the previously untouchable Barišić at yesterday’s Assembly meeting. Although the new leadership of Dinamo has stated that its goal is not to replace the existing personnel, Index expects that changes in the Management Board may occur. In this context, there have been stories about how Kamenski is also a possible candidate for a member of the Management Board, which the owner of Kamgrad has now denied.
