Leftist extremists attack industrial facilities after art pieces, first target – Tesla in Berlin

Germany does not only have right-wing extremists; leftist extremist groups are also very active, and one of them, Vulkangruppe, caused such chaos at the Giga Berlin factory where Teslas are produced that the German Prime Minister had to call Elon Musk and apologize for the damage estimated in billions of dollars or euros, whichever one prefers.

In short, the leftist eco-terrorist group set fire to a transmission tower that supplies electricity to the factory, which of course caused not only the end of the connection and fire on the transmission lines but also a complete power outage in the factory and in surrounding areas that have, if German media are to be believed, been without electricity for four days. Of course, due to the fire, the factory was evacuated, and according to announcements from Tesla’s German branch, production in the facility will not resume at least until next week, which is estimated to cost the company billions of dollars. At least. The question is whether anything that was not a tweet from Elon Musk has ever cost Tesla this much?

In a letter sent to the German portal kontrapolis.info, Vulkangruppe stated that they sabotaged the factory because it ‘consumes land, resources, people, labor while producing six thousand SUVs, killer cars, and monster trucks weekly.’ It cannot be like this; we will defend the land from the enemy, claim the leftist extremists.

Of course, Musk immediately reacted on X: ‘These are either the dumbest eco-terrorists on Earth or puppets of those who do not have good ecological goals. Stopping the production of electric vehicles instead of fossil fuel vehicles is extreme stupidity.’

The impetus for such moves by leftist eco-terrorists are announcements that Tesla’s Giga will expand to create more production space, more parking for newly produced Teslas, and more storage for parts, and there is also a plan to build a kindergarten for the company’s employees. This would harm the forest and eco-system, believe the leftists who have gone so far as to build dozens of tree houses in that nearby forest where they plan to stay… well, until their demands are met.

– The safety of our 12,000 employees is our top priority, and we are glad that no one was injured in this attack. However, besides the factory, many of our neighbors in the region, households, as well as schools and hospitals, have been affected by the power outage, and we condemn this reckless attack. We assume that law enforcement agencies and courts will respond appropriately, states Tesla Manufacturing in a statement.

Given that critical infrastructure has been attacked, as well as the business of both large Tesla and other small entrepreneurs in the region around the factory, it is not hard to assume that the authorities in Germany, who have been in contact with Musk for days, will take steps and charge the leaders of the extremist group with terrorism, which is no small matter.

Volcanic eco-standards

The factory in Brandenburg near Berlin, opened in 2022, is Tesla’s first production site in Europe, and the company announced last year that it reached a production level of five thousand cars per week.

Extremists, however, claim that they have the right to such actions and that this is just one ‘step on the path to liberation from patriarchy.’ Who is behind the group is unknown; the letter sent to the media is signed Agua De Pau, the name of a volcano in the Azores, and the police are still verifying its authenticity. However, it is also known that the group did not emerge recently; they have been known to the police since 2011 and are linked to certain fires in Berlin. Namely, leftist extremists have focused their attacks on railway cables, radio towers, data lines, and official vehicles of companies that violate ‘volcanic’ eco-standards, which means that the target can actually be anyone from the industrial sector. Even state companies.

Leftist extremist groups were very active in Europe, including in West Germany, during the 1960s and 1970s when they fought against capitalism and the ‘wealthy ruling class.’ Anarchists, socialists, and communists have fought and continue to fight against capitalism, fascism, and globalization, and although it seemed that their views and actions had ‘dulled’ over the years, in recent years new factions have emerged across Europe that show that extremist groups are justified, and interestingly, their first and main enemy – capitalism, so their ‘targets’ are the industry.

The railway, Tesla, it is only a matter of time who will be next in the crosshairs, as it is a matter of time when such actions will begin to be ‘exported’ to other countries. We see that splashing paint on the most expensive artworks in the world has become news that we no longer take seriously, and recently eco-extremists fighting for animal rights hijacked a fashion show by Victoria Beckham at Paris Fashion Week.

Extremist ideas are fertile ground, and unlike the extreme right, which is very active in Germany, as well as in other EU countries, whose targets are different and various state and social structures that do not share their views, leftist groups seek targets that create wealth.

Both right-wing and left-wing groups pose headaches for the police and law enforcement agencies in Europe, and if the announcements are to be believed, both could cause the most disruption if their ideas gain traction in the European elections and become part of the mainstream political agenda in Europe. However, given certain ideas and strategies signed by European bureaucrats in recent years, it is hard to expect that the new assembly, no matter how diverse, will create greater chaos than the existing one.
