SKDD to Pay Interest on National Bonds on March 8

The Central Clearing Depository Company (SKDD) will pay interest on the bond issued by the Republic of Croatia, designation RHMF-O-253B, ISIN: HRRHMFO253B1 (hereinafter: national bond) to all its holders on March 8.

Let us remind you that the Republic of Croatia issued a national bond on March 8, 2023, thus making a historic breakthrough in the issuance of government bonds by offering the opportunity to purchase bonds to individuals, which was taken up by over 40,000 people who purchased national bonds.

– We are extremely pleased that the Central Clearing Depository Company, as one of the key institutions of the Croatian financial market, plays a significant role in this process. With our best knowledge, as well as the use of the most modern technological platforms tailored to the best practices and standards of European markets, we all contribute to the stability and further development of the national capital market while ensuring quality service to our clients – emphasized Dora Matošić, CEO of SKDD.

The payment of interest on the national bond will be made by SKDD to all its holders (hereinafter: investors) who will have the national bond in their securities account in SKDD at the end of the day on March 7, 2024.

SKDD emphasizes that interest will be paid to the IBAN of the holder of national bonds recorded on the investor’s account in SKDD where the national bonds are registered. For new investors who did not have an open securities account in SKDD before purchasing/registering the national bond, it is the IBAN that the investor provided on the registration form for the national bond, while for investors who already had an open securities account in SKDD before purchasing/registering the national bond, it is the IBAN that was previously recorded on their account in SKDD.
