Croatian Post Rewards Postal Workers and Drivers with 1200 Euros

Postal workers, newspaper deliverers, and drivers of Croatian Post can now count on an additional reward alongside all other work benefits and salary increases. If they remain with the company until the end of the year, they can earn an additional 1200 euros net. This reward has been introduced for positions where the highest turnover and need for employment have been identified and will also apply to all future workers in those positions who are hired no later than the end of June 2024.

Croatian Post, like many other employers in the labor market, has been facing challenges in certain areas with finding adequate labor and turnover for some time. Aware that increasing salaries is the only real response to increased employee turnover, the Post has launched numerous initiatives in the last two years to retain them.

Thus, in March 2024, all employees of Croatian Post will see their salaries increase again – the third time in the last six months – which amounts to a total increase of 25 percent. The salary increase began in 2022 when the pay for 8000 operational workers was raised by 20%. Postal workers receive three one-time bonuses annually: Easter bonus, Christmas bonus, and vacation pay.

Operational workers receive a variable performance bonus in addition to their regular salary every month. Furthermore, they benefit from systematic and specialist health check-ups, a MultiSport card, as well as increased contributions for transportation and meals, and a special performance bonus that depends on meeting annual goals and can reach the amount of monthly net salary paid into the third pension pillar. All of this is just some of the benefits of working at Croatian Post.
