The international commercial real estate firm Avison Young, which has over one hundred offices in 18 countries worldwide, is expanding into the Croatian market.
The Avison Young office in Zagreb will be led by Klara Matić, who previously headed the investment transactions department at Colliers, and will be joined by Marko Varga, a financial analyst and entrepreneur, as well as Filip Dumbović, who recently worked as a project manager in the real estate department of Fortenova.
– This expansion demonstrates AY’s commitment to capitalize on opportunities in Southeast Europe. The Croatian commercial real estate market is strategically located on the Adriatic Sea. It offers investors unique opportunities with a diverse, strong, and rapidly growing economy, a constant strong demand for tourism and hospitality, and a blend of historical and modern urban development with an emphasis on sustainability – stated Avison Young.
The Avison Young team in Croatia will provide comprehensive services in the areas of valuation and consulting for office, retail, residential, hotel, industrial, and logistics segments of real estate.
Over the past decade, Avison Young has experienced rapid growth: it has grown from around three hundred real estate professionals to approximately five thousand, making it one of the fastest-growing global commercial real estate firms. It was founded in 1978 in Toronto.
