P3 Mobility Announces Collaboration with Mobileye, Global Leader in Autonomous Driving

Project 3 Mobility (P3), a Croatian company developing a new ecosystem for urban mobility, and Mobileye (Nasdaq: MBLY), a global leader in autonomous driving solutions, have announced a collaboration. P3 will utilize advanced Mobileye technology for autonomous vehicles – Mobileye Drive – in the development of its service.

Project 3 Mobility is developing a service aimed at significantly improving transportation in urban areas and revolutionizing mobility in cities. The service launch is planned for 2026 in Zagreb, with the first phases of testing Mobileye’s technology on the streets of the Croatian capital beginning this year. The initial phase will focus on mapping the streets of Zagreb, for which P3 will use specially equipped test vehicles. After mapping, the focus will shift to testing Mobileye’s autonomous system solutions to calibrate their technology for this environment. Various test vehicles will be used in these phases, which will not resemble the autonomous vehicles that P3 is developing, and they will also have safety drivers onboard.

Project 3 Mobility is fundamentally developing its own autonomous electric vehicle, crucial for implementing the new urban mobility ecosystem. Part of the vehicle development involves creating a completely new vehicle platform optimized for autonomous driving. Mobileye’s technology will be fully integrated into the P3 vehicle, which will use the Mobileye Drive system for autonomous driving.

– Our goal is to improve the way people move in cities. The collaboration with Mobileye is fundamental to achieving that vision. Mobileye has proven to be a great partner with the right experience, the right technology, and the right team. We are proud that Mobileye recognized the value of our project and that we will achieve our vision of urban autonomous mobility together. We believe that by realizing our project, we will bring numerous benefits to Zagreb, as well as many other cities that will provide our service – stated Marko Pejković, co-founder and CEO of Project 3 Mobility.

For the past twenty years, Mobileye has been developing advanced solutions using the power of artificial intelligence and computer vision to enhance road safety. More than 170 million vehicles worldwide today have integrated Mobileye technology. The significant advantages of the Mobileye Drive system are that it can be implemented in many geographical locations, on various types of roadways, can drive in different weather conditions, and adapt to local driving styles. The Mobileye Drive technology for autonomous driving uses a combination of redundant camera and lidar-radar sensors, REM™ mapping based on mass data collection, all powered by the EyeQ™ system-on-chip that allows Mobileye to monitor traffic dynamics and provide a tailored autonomous driving service.

– We welcome the collaboration with Project 3 Mobility, which will contribute to creating an innovative new mobility service. We share a common vision of safe and accessible urban mobility, which we will achieve with the help of our advanced Mobileye Drive technology, a flexible platform developed for implementation in various types of vehicles. We look forward to exploring new frontiers in mobility services – concluded Prof. Amnon Shashua, founder and CEO of Mobileye.

The adaptable Mobileye autonomous driving system will enable Project 3 Mobility to launch its service in other cities around the world after Zagreb. Project 3 Mobility has already signed agreements with nine cities and is in constant communication with an additional 30 cities across Europe, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East, which are interested in becoming project partners. By launching the new mobility service (Mobility-as-a-Service), Project 3 Mobility aims to increase efficiency and safety in traffic and achieve a positive impact on the environment and urban infrastructure.
