Gifterija and Wine Club Design Gifts According to Customer Wishes

At the Zagreb wine bar Wine & Friends, Ana and Iva announced a collaboration with Tomo Jakopović and Iva Kozarčanin, founders of the first Croatian wine news portal vinskiklub.hr.

Ana Plazibat and Iva Špalj offer exclusive personalized gifts from their company Gifterija. Their goal is to design and create memories for all those who give and receive gifts. Gifterija places special importance on the first impression that the package leaves before it is opened, and through packaging, they strive to express the elegance and professionalism that gift recipients deserve. The contents of the package are carefully selected and consist exclusively of products of Croatian origin, aimed at promoting small businesses and family farms.

Given that the Wine Club is engaged in the promotion of wine, and Gifterija offers packages with exclusively Croatian content, the integration of wine into gift packages, promoted by experts, can create unique, attractive, and quality products.

The announcement of this collaboration was, of course, accompanied by fine wines. The wine bar Wine & Friends welcomed guests with an extraordinary mature rosé sparkling wine Rosula from the Kos winery in Sveti Ivan Zelina, and during discussions about gifts, two very rare, almost unique wines were enjoyed: Calma 2021 from the Boškinac winery in Novalja, a blend of indigenous white varieties maraština and debita, surprised with its freshness.

The wine is not specially prepared for aging, but it left the impression of being much younger than it is. The red was original as well: Dom Kalebić Cuvée black 2018 is a unique combination of plavac mali, crljenak kaštelanski, and dobričić šoltanski, three varieties that are closely related, but genetic research has not clarified who is the parent and who is the offspring.

The wines paired very well with plates of Croatian cured meat products and fine cheeses.
