The domestic IT company Q has expanded its operations into the Middle East, with approximately 70 of its experts currently working on projects for Saudi Arabia for companies such as Takamol Holding, Tamkeen Technologies, and others, developing systems used by over 10 million citizens of that country, Q reported on Wednesday.
These are new collaborations for Q in the Middle East, which the CEO of Q, Filip Ljubić, describes as their strategic expansion following the outbreak of war in Ukraine and the energy crisis in Europe.
– The systems developed by our employees are used by over 10 million residents of Saudi Arabia; these are solutions that are important for the development of the entire kingdom and are currently part of some of the largest global projects, thus Q contributes to the digitalization of services for the local population – emphasizes Ljubić.
He reveals that these are complex solutions beneficial to the residents of Saudi Arabia in their professional development, helping them more easily obtain work permits, professional training, and educational programs, as well as information on retraining and regulations.
Q adds that Saudi Arabia is rapidly developing, especially with urban settlements, and they see significant potential for digitalization solutions in that market overall, with current estimates suggesting that by 2025, their IT market will reach a value of $27.4 billion.
Q is headquartered in Zagreb, providing software solutions for a range of industries, from automotive and pharmaceutical to financial, media, and others, and they state that they are highly globally oriented, with 99 percent of their business coming from foreign clients. Currently, Q operates in 22 global markets, including Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, the USA, and Saudi Arabia.
