Kaufland Awarded Employer Partner and Above and Beyond Certificates

• Employer Partner is the most recognized certificate for HR excellence awarded by SELECTIO for 18 years to companies that stand out in the market for high-quality human resource management.
• Above and Beyond is the most prestigious certificate in the HR world awarded by SELECTIO to companies that are in the top 10 percent for the quality of the entire HR system.

Thanks to excellent results achieved in this year’s analysis of human resource management conducted by SELECTIO, the most recognized HR consulting group in Croatia, Kaufland proudly holds the Employer Partner and Above and Beyond certificates. Only companies that are in the top 10% according to the assessment of the quality of the entire HR system can apply for the Above and Beyond certificate. Therefore, this certificate represents the most prestigious confirmation of quality in the HR world, and Kaufland received such confirmation in two categories: ‘Innovation’ and ‘Future’.

– Our analysis of the HR system revealed that Kaufland invests above average in employee training at all levels. Employees have access to numerous initiatives for developing future competencies, and retraining and upgrading knowledge and skills are possible. In the past year, all employees had the opportunity for additional training in various areas. In Kaufland, the candidate selection process has been maximally simplified by introducing ‘Chatbot Kala’, which has also improved the candidate experience. Additionally, the digitalization of the selection process has particularly simplified the hiring process for candidates coming from abroad. Along with the hiring process, the onboarding process has also been digitized and is specially tailored to the dynamic everyday life in retail.

Unlike awards for individual HR or employer branding practices, the Employer Partner and Above and Beyond certificates are awarded for the excellence of the entire HR system, which means that Kaufland had to demonstrate the connection, purposefulness, and quality of HR practices applied throughout the organization at all levels.
