The retail chain Studenac reported on Friday that it has acquired the retail chain La-vor Trade, which operates in 16 retail outlets in the Istria region and employs over 200 staff.
Thus, Studenac is concluding 2023 in line with its acquisition announcements, marking the third acquisition this year, following Spar Trgovine in August and Strahinjčica in May, as stated in the press release.
Immediately after the acquisition, La-vor Trade will begin to gradually transition under the umbrella of Studenac, allowing customers to take advantage of the friendly atmosphere in the 109 Studenac stores that will now be spread across Istria.
Studenac is confident that through the synergy of national strength and local recognition, it will continue to meet and fulfill the daily needs of customers, both local residents and tourists.
– Studenac began building its national presence precisely in Istria by acquiring Istrian supermarkets back in 2019 – said the CEO of Studenac, Michal Senczuk.
In the past five years, as he noted, they have focused their business strategy on building neighborhood stores, and they plan to continue in the same direction.
– The business success and excellent results of Studenac this year confirm that it is possible to maintain and continue to strengthen customer loyalty based on that idea. We are confident that our experience in Istria will enable us to further strengthen our connection with customers in that part of Croatia, now through the La-vor Trade network – stated Senczuk.
