Cammeo Taxi began its business journey in 2006 in Rijeka with just a few vehicles and has become a market leader in less than ten years, being the first taxi carrier to offer services throughout Croatia. In the meantime, it has also become the first in another aspect – it is the largest domestic franchise provider. The future may be unpredictable, but one thing is certain: the Croatian franchise industry is on an upward trajectory, with significant growth of domestic systems and the internationalization of small, yet meaningful domestic brands. In the current topic, Gordana Gelenčer writes how Croatia will ‘fly’ as long as there is European money, but what happens after that?
