Lider’s action ‘Counting Trailers’ continues! While some count tourists, we count trailers with goods for export that are significantly more important to the national economy than the export of services, a fact that is completely overlooked in the public eye.
The company RST-Pellet, located in Delnice, exports almost 85 percent of its products to Italy, Slovenia, and Austria, while the remaining 15 percent is sold on the domestic market.
This is a company that exclusively produces wood pellets of the highest ENPlus A1 quality, and is also the largest producer of such pellets in Croatia. Annually, RST-Pellet produces between 65 and 70 tons of pellets from 2020 to the present day. The company employs 42 staff members, and in 2022, it achieved a total annual revenue of 19.9 million euros.
– RST-Pellet has exported over 2200 trailers of goods in 2023 so far, with a total value of 15 million euros. Divided weekly, this means we send an average of 45 trailers for export each week, or over 1100 tons of products weekly – the company concludes.
