The company Combis is organizing a new humanitarian action on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Zagreb from 2 PM to 7 PM.
Colleagues from Combis will sell picture books from the collection ‘Fairy Tales in the Digital World’ which were created in collaboration with the Center for Missing and Exploited Children to educate children about internet safety.
The occasion for the now third holiday gathering of Combis humanitarians is a new picture book in the collection – after the fairy tales The Three Little Pigs, The Ugly Duckling, and Pinocchio, the popular picture book Little Red Riding Hood will also see the light of day. It is, like the other ‘Fairy Tales in the Digital World’, enriched with a workbook that opens up topics of online challenges and dangers, which children and parents solve together as they journey towards knowledge in the digital world.

—– The pre-holiday season is ideal for gifting the youngest with a traditional picture book that contains a story with important messages. I invite everyone who is near the Hilton hotel in Zagreb on the feast day of the protector of children to join us in our #GetInvolved initiative to educate the public about online dangers and thus contribute to shaping a safer future for our children – said Maja Markulin Klarić, Director of the Digital Innovations Department at Combis.
The price of each picture book is 6.62 euros, and some are already available in the Center’s web shop. All proceeds from the sale of picture books are intended for the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Part of the humanitarian action is also an educational children’s play, and a lot of accompanying entertainment for children is being prepared from 4 PM to 7 PM.
