The University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics announces a competition for the enrollment of a new generation of students in university specialist studies for the academic year 2023/2024.

Conditions for enrollment in the university specialist study:
1. Completed university graduate study or integrated university undergraduate and graduate study, which upon completion earns 300 ECTS credits and the academic title of university master of economics or another university graduate study in the field of social, humanities, or other sciences, or completed undergraduate university study which upon completion earns the professional title of graduate economist or another undergraduate university study in the field of social, humanities, or other sciences.
2. Exceptionally, a university specialist study can also be enrolled by a person who has completed a professional graduate study, which upon completion has earned 300 ECTS credits and the professional title of master of economics or another professional graduate study in the field of social, humanities, or other sciences, subject to passing differential exams determined by the Faculty, provided they have at least five years of work experience in the field of study execution.
3. Average grade of 3.5 achieved during all levels of study. If the candidate has a lower average, it is necessary to submit recommendations from two university professors.
4. Knowledge of at least one foreign language.

Applications are accepted until December 15, 2023.
The application must include:
– Certified copies of diplomas from all levels of study based on which enrollment is conducted.
– Certified transcripts of grades from all levels of study based on which enrollment is conducted.
– Two recommendations from university professors (if the average grade in the study/studies was lower than 3.5).
– Citizenship certificate – original, certified copy, or electronic record from the Citizen Registry.
– Birth certificate – original, certified copy, or electronic record from the birth registry.
– Proof of knowledge of one foreign language.
– Curriculum vitae.
– Decision of the organization regarding the payment of tuition fees (if the tuition is paid by a legal entity).
Students applying for enrollment based on completed professional graduate studies are required to provide proof of work experience – an electronic record from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute and a confirmation from the employer indicating the job position.
Candidates who have not completed their university graduate study or integrated university undergraduate and graduate study, which upon completion earns 300 ECTS credits, or another university graduate study in the field of social, humanities, or other sciences, or completed undergraduate university study or another undergraduate university study in the field of social, humanities, or other sciences, or professional graduate study outside the Republic of Croatia must submit a decision from the Commission of the University of Zagreb for the academic recognition of foreign higher education qualifications.
