The right place to create synergy between those who need products and services for tourist facilities and those who can offer them is the traditional international fair Design District Rovinj, held from November 23 to 25 in the old factory in the heart of Rovinj.
A new wave of guests, often described as “new tourists,” brings with it a set of expectations that were once considered a luxury but have now become standard. To meet the needs of these tourists, the tourism and interior and exterior design sectors must work hand in hand, focusing on trends and sustainability as their main guidelines.
Outdoor spaces, such as gardens and terraces, are transforming into extensions of the interior, places where guests can enjoy local herbs and views, often integrating elements such as vertical gardens or pools with natural filtration. These are all themes, products, and services communicated over three days at the most important regional event for the decoration of tourist facilities, the Design District fair in Rovinj.
In response to these trends, interior designers and architects have become key collaborators in the tourism sector. Their ability to create spaces that are simultaneously functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable is invaluable. Their work not only enhances the value of properties but also defines the experience that guests will take with them. More than 90 brands gathered at the site of new business meetings in Rovinj allow visitors to receive a wealth of information and offers for the necessary products and services in a short time.
