HEP Production and Končar Engineering signed a contract on Monday for the design and construction of the Solar Power Plant Dugopolje, worth 11.1 million euros, as announced by HEP.
The installed capacity of the plant will be 13.54 megawatts, while the connection capacity will be ten megawatts.
The expected annual production of 17.2 million kilowatt-hours will be sufficient to supply approximately 6,000 households.
On an area of about 200 thousand square meters in the Municipality of Dugopolje, 24,624 photovoltaic modules will be installed, which will be connected to 52 three-phase inverters.
The deadline for the execution of works is 18 months from the signing of the contract.
Dugopolje will be the twelfth and the largest solar power plant in HEP’s portfolio to date.
The contract for the design and construction of the Solar Power Plant Dugopolje was signed in Krka National Park, at the site of the Jaruga Hydroelectric Power Plant. This year, specifically on December 1, HE Jaruga will celebrate 120 years of operation, making it one of the oldest active power plants in the world, according to HEP.
