Gathering more than 150 of its customers and business partners from Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Deceuninck Croatia marked the opening of its new facility in Donja Bistra, which is also the largest factory for laminating PVC profiles in this part of Europe. On this occasion, customers and partners toured the production complex and became acquainted with the technologically advanced and simultaneously carefully controlled process of laminating PVC profiles.
The new business-production facility in Donja Bistra, covering as much as 17,000 square meters, was built and commenced production in less than a year. Dries Moors, the General Director of Deceuninck for Europe, emphasized that with the construction of the new laminating factory, Deceuninck has gained a strong foundation for growth and development in this market over the next 20 to 30 years.
– From this facility, where we can laminate more than 8 million meters of PVC profiles annually, we will supply our customers in the Italian market, the countries of the region, as well as in other markets we plan to open. The relocation to new facilities will enable us greater efficiency, better logistics, and better and faster delivery to our partners – highlighted Josip Klasić, the Director of Deceuninck for the region.
Since 2015, when Deceuninck Croatia had 8 employees, it has grown to a company with nearly 180 employees today. The facility in Donja Bistra is now one of the largest and most modern factories for laminating PVC profiles in Europe and is certified according to all quality standards. More than 8 million meters of foil are cut and applied to PVC profiles annually under strictly controlled conditions, and samples are additionally tested in a specially equipped laboratory to eliminate complaints and deliver profiles of the highest quality to customers.
