Visible progress in HR practices year after year is the result of the effort and work of the HR department, which approaches the creation, implementation, and execution of HR practices responsibly, proactively, and always with a focus on employees.

HR Solutions as Support for Innovation and Lifelong Learning

All ten awarded companies of the INA Group promote and nurture a culture of innovation through numerous initiatives. Future competencies have been defined, as well as programs that enable employee training in the necessary skills for the future and the demands of future jobs. All employees have the opportunity to participate in programs for developing new skills and improving existing competencies, while Human Resources simultaneously ensures that the implemented practices provide a solid foundation for the personal and professional growth and development of each employee.

The human resources function is actively involved in building relationships with all key stakeholders and ensures the implementation of best human resource practices that contribute to the well-being of the entire organization. Employees have access to numerous internal and external development activities that are conducted group-wise or locally, allowing for the exchange of knowledge and positive practices, such as the example with the INA Academy. This internal academy has existed since 2016 and has educated nearly 15,000 employees through 700 trainings over the past seven years.

Impact on the Regional Labor Market through Collaboration with the Academic Community

INA Group continuously strengthens collaboration with the academic community and invests numerous resources to support the development of competencies and knowledge among young people. Through various collaborations with the academic community, INA Group prepares young people for the labor market and informs them about what to expect after graduation and how to successfully find a job.

The company participates in various events that promote excellence and the importance of strengthening young people’s skills. The opportunity for internships within the company is particularly important so that vocational school students and students of various orientations have the chance to learn and apply their knowledge, as well as create new solutions applicable in a real business environment.

INA’s Solutions for a Healthy Work Environment

In managing human resources, INA implements innovative practices developed with great trust in people and openness to new ideas. Within the organization, dedicated departments for innovation, patents, inventions, and technical improvements have been formed. There is also a platform for connecting mentors and mentees that is used at the group level. INA nurtures innovative initiatives to strengthen social cohesion through internal collaboration platforms such as its own programs bikeZONA, beneFIT, Read&Share, and Parents at INA.

– I am personally proud of my team, our teamwork, and the results achieved. As a company, we are extremely proud that our advanced approach to human resources, which simultaneously supports the growth of the organization and employee satisfaction, has been recognized once again, and this balance is extremely important in times of unpredictable and frequent challenges. It is important to us that the profession recognizes all the good practices of human resource management that we implement and continuously improve, but even more important is that our workers recognize and appreciate it. We strive to identify the needs of the business and be supportive so that they can effectively manage their teams. We continue with quality initiatives at the level of the entire INA Group that contribute to the health and well-being of workers, establishing a balance between work and private life, and continuously strengthening the employee development system because we are aware that the contributions of workers, their motivation, and satisfaction are key to sustainable business and success,” stated Vladimira Senčar Perkov, Director of Human Resources at INA, during the certificate acceptance.

– Creating HR solutions that are suitable for a company of this size is very complex. INA puts a great effort into coordinating its companies operating in different Croatian regions and neighboring countries. INA’s achievements and initiatives in the field of human resources are very inspiring, not only for the associated companies of INA where human resource management practices impact their numerous employees but also for the entire Croatian HR community,” said Lara Šubić Šuša, Project Manager of Employer Partner at Selectio Group, on the occasion of the certificate award.
