Lean Startup Croatia Celebrates 10 Years of Operation and a New Name – Smion

On Tuesday, October 24, the last Lean Startup Croatia meetup titled 10×10 event was held in Zagreb. The innovation agency Lean Startup Croatia, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, reminisced with its close friends, collaborators, and partners about 230 educational sessions and workshops, 67 innovation projects, and over 50 events that marked numerous startups as well as the entire entrepreneurial and startup ecosystem.

Since 2013, when they began organizing the first meetups, workshops, and lectures, they aimed to connect the community of new generations of entrepreneurs, providing them with the necessary support to realize and market their ideas and innovations as simply as possible. They emphasize support as crucial for every entrepreneurial start and are proud of the fact that their work has supported numerous startups that continue to operate successfully today.

Throughout their ten years of work, during which they learned, progressed, and matured into the company they are today, they have created several new generations of entrepreneurs, significantly contributed to the development of the startup ecosystem, and achieved numerous successes.

At the event, they especially thanked all attendees who made significant contributions to leaving a positive mark on our startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

However, alongside socializing, refreshments, and marking the end of one chapter, they announced a major news. Lean Startup Croatia, after 10 years of operation, has rightfully gone into history and has been replaced by Smion!

Boldly and persistently, the Smion team will continue to operate with the mission of empowering entrepreneurs and building innovative ecosystems that foster growth. We look forward to new innovative and startup programs that will continue to provide support to curious, persistent, intellectual, agile, and bold startups and entrepreneurs.
