The government made a decision at its meeting on Thursday allowing the operation of specialized stores and other forms of sales outside them on All Saints’ Day, which sell products traditionally purchased on that day, such as flowers and lanterns.
The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Davor Filipović stated that based on the Trade Act, the government can determine by decision which sales facilities are required to operate on public holidays in the Republic of Croatia.
As All Saints’ Day approaches, the decision is to allow specialized stores and other forms of sales outside stores that sell products that citizens traditionally purchase on All Saints’ Day, such as flowers, floral arrangements, wreaths, candles, lanterns, and other related products, said Filipović.
– This decision is in accordance with the Trade Act and in accordance with the Public Holidays Act. For all interested parties – noted Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.
