The government has adopted a conclusion regarding the energy renovation of family houses and multi-apartment buildings worth a total of 225 million euros, which mandates that revenues from the sale of greenhouse gas emissions be used for the energy renovation of these facilities.
The conclusion tasks the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, in cooperation with the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, to secure funds in the amount of 50 million euros in 2023 for the purpose of energy renovation of family houses and 25 million euros for the energy renovation of family houses of citizens at risk of energy poverty.
In 2024, they are tasked with securing funds in the amount of 70 million euros for the energy renovation of family houses.
The funds will be secured from revenues obtained from the sale of emission units in the Republic of Croatia.
At the same time, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, in cooperation with the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, is tasked with securing up to 80 million euros for the energy renovation of multi-apartment buildings in 2024 and 2025.
