Bugatti Rimac is hiring more than 50 new technicians in the paint shop

Bugatti Rimac, a company within Rimac Group focused on the design, development, and production of hypercars, plans to hire more than 50 new employees in the next six months in the paint shop at the new Rimac Campus near Zagreb.

The new employees will join the existing team of 26 experts and, after training, will participate in the production of current and future Rimac and Bugatti models. Given that this is an extremely scarce profession, Bugatti Rimac is launching the Painting Academy to train interested candidates for work in the hypercar paint shop, which is also unique due to the materials from which the cars are primarily made – carbon fibers. The expanded team will begin work next year at the Rimac Campus in a modernly equipped paint shop of over two thousand square meters, where parts of the body and interior of hypercars, also produced within the Rimac Campus, will be painted.

The company is looking for paint technicians in three categories of work processes – preparation, painting, and polishing, and the work tasks of employees will be determined based on specialization and upon completion of training. Candidates for employment include individuals with and without experience in painting and preparation, and depending on their level of experience, they will receive training as part of the Bugatti Rimac Painting Academy. Preference is given to candidates with experience and auto painters, while due to the specificity of the job, it is desirable that other potential candidates have technical backgrounds and interests.

The Bugatti Rimac Painting Academy for paint technicians begins with basic theoretical and practical training. During the training in the mentioned education, participants will become familiar with all activities within the paint shop, after which they will continue with one of the specialized trainings in the areas of preparation, polishing, or painting. Subsequently, participants will begin to fully work on serial automotive parts under the guidance of a mentor until they acquire all the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience for the appropriate position and independent work.

The training lasts between five to nine months, depending on the existing skills of the workers, the area of specialization, and the level of acquired skills, and during the training period, workers enter into an employment relationship and receive a salary. After completing the training, participants will know the necessary theory and practice of preparation, painting, and polishing of Bugatti and Rimac cars, learn how to use hand and electric tools, and understand safety and protection procedures according to industry standards.
