Croatia has been energetically following the global wave of sustainability for some time now, which is seriously transforming the entire world economy. In the dynamic environment of global market factors, the transition to solar energy now seems not only extremely economically viable but also an unavoidable choice for a whole spectrum of different industrial sectors. From large plants and retail chains to public institutions and private households, solar panels have undoubtedly become an indispensable element of any serious energy portfolio, raising the question of how the entire sustainability story looks in practice.
The answer and the real picture of the benefits of such energy transformation are provided by examples of domestic companies that have already successfully implemented solar solutions in their operations.
Strategically Important Investments
Đano Trade is a long-standing leader in the supply of agricultural machinery and service services in the Split-Dalmatia County, and it stepped into a sustainable future this year by building its own solar power plant. Its exceptional reputation, built through long-term cooperation with the highest quality global manufacturers such as Honda, Husqvarna, Milwaukee, Pramac, Benassi, and Stiga, has now been confirmed by its commitment to new energy trends. In cooperation with the renowned Split company Forte Solar d.o.o., it has implemented a solar power plant with a capacity of 94.3 KW with a total of 230 solar panels on the roof of its service-sales center in Klis, thus starting to produce its own electricity, which already means financial savings and reduced dependence on increasingly frequent market instabilities for it.
– In our business, we have continuously built a reputation for expertise and innovation and have always been open to new approaches. Cooperation with Forte Solar d.o.o. has enabled us not only to reduce dependence on traditional energy sources but also to actively contribute to environmental preservation. We believe that such an investment is a financially rational move and the foundation of a long-term sustainable business strategy that we all ultimately strive for as business entities – said Branimir Erceg, director of Đano Trade.
Forte Solar emphasizes the broader implications of such investments. Their practice and leading role they have taken in the construction of solar power plants have shown that companies turning to solar solutions, alongside financial gains, are becoming leaders in sustainable and socially responsible business in their sector.
