A1 Hrvatska: Management is ready to sign a collective agreement and calls on HST to sign a confidentiality statement regarding sensitive data

In light of the strike in which employees of A1 Hrvatska and those from other telecoms participated today, organized by the Croatian Telecommunications Union (HST), A1 Hrvatska has also responded.

– As stated by the Croatian Telecommunications Union, this is a protest by the union membership of all telecoms and IT companies. A1 Hrvatska continuously invests in the earnings of all employees. The minimum earnings for jobs of the least complexity and demand at A1 Hrvatska currently amount to 768 euros net, which is 34 percent higher than the state minimum. All employees have had their earnings increased by at least 133 euros per month this year, and from next year it will be 160 euros. In addition, employees receive a Christmas bonus, vacation pay, a bonus for good business results, and additional bonuses.

In just the last two years, A1 Hrvatska has invested an additional 7 million euros in earnings, which is the highest per employee in the telecommunications sector.

The management of A1 Hrvatska has long been ready to sign a collective agreement and calls on HST to sign a confidentiality statement regarding sensitive data that will be available to them in negotiations and to return to negotiations in good faith and for the benefit of all employees of A1 Hrvatska – stated A1 Hrvatska in an official statement.

Let us recall, the demands of today’s protesters were related to higher wages and a collective agreement in telecom A1 Hrvatska, but also better conditions for all underpaid workers in the telecommunications and IT sectors.

Today’s protest was also supported by the Science Union, and this is the first time that A1 workers have protested since the company was established, and they were joined by protesters from Hrvatski Telekom, Telemach Hrvatska, Combis, and other companies, with whom collective negotiations will also begin by the end of the year, according to the president of the Croatian Telecommunications Union (HST), Vesna Mamić, as reported by Hina.
