After two years at the company, the Chief Technical and Information Technology Officer Branimir Marić has decided to continue his career outside the company. In his place, the Leadership team in cluster positions for A1 Croatia and A1 Macedonia has welcomed Boris Gotovac as the Chief IT and Services Officer, and Vladimir Skender as the Chief Network Officer.
The organizational changes in A1 Croatia’s Technology Division are a continuation of the company’s focus on developing fixed and mobile infrastructure, transformation programs, and IT services. Gotovac and Skender have successfully led their teams in recent years and have worked diligently to achieve the company’s goals.
Boris Gotovac graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing and obtained a master’s degree in Information Management from Henley Business School. He began his career in 2009 at Hrvatski Telekom and left in 2016 as the Director of the IT Development and Integration Department. He continued as part of the A1 team and Director for the IT cluster in Croatia and Macedonia. In both countries, he worked on projects involving the acquisition of other companies and the integration of IT systems and their migration to the Cloud. He led business digital transformation projects that included agile methodologies and the application of automated processes and artificial intelligence.
