Creaticon: Cosmetic Brands Skintegra and Skinlick Conquer Markets

With its two cosmetic brands Skintegra and Skinlick, Creaticon has conquered the markets of some of the largest EU member states in just six years. It is currently investing in research and development and working on new products while planning to open new markets. Founded in 2014, it launched the first products of the Skintegra cosmetic line in June 2017. Over the past six years, Creaticon has focused on expanding its distribution network across Europe, and thanks to growing demand, a complementary range of Skinlick was launched at the end of last year, another brand that quickly gained popularity. At Creaticon, both brands are currently being developed simultaneously, with market differentiation being the main challenge. The brands of the cosmetic manufacturer Creaticon are very well received in the market, and the company’s leadership is satisfied with the growth of both in all markets.

Responsible and Sustainable

Creaticon currently has 33 products in its range and is working on new products, which is why it invests heavily in research and development (R&D). With Skintegra, which makes up the majority of Creaticon’s range, it has focused on targeted products that act on demanding and problematic facial skin with some irregularities that require correction, while Skinlick, with its simple formulations, is more focused on ecological sustainability and caters to normal skin that needs quality basic care.

Behind the development of all product concepts is Jelena Skendžić Ratkajec, co-founder and CEO of Creaticon. The company’s formulators, production, and quality analysts create the formulation and all accompanying tests to ensure that the highest quality product reaches the market and the consumers.

Creaticon sources raw materials for its cosmetic preparations from reputable manufacturers in the European Union who supply all major European producers. These are large suppliers who work for the most well-known dermocosmetic manufacturers, and all raw materials used undergo Creaticon’s internal quality control. The uniqueness and quality of Creaticon’s products compared to competitors is evident in the results they deliver.

Quality and Educational

Along with very high-quality products, Creaticon always strives to provide the best education about the products and their combinations to achieve the best effect. Creaticon’s products have been celebrated by positive experiences from users with demanding skin, and this positive word-of-mouth continues beyond Croatia.

The company exports to the EU and regional markets, a total of nineteen, with the export share in total business accounting for 25 percent. The most important markets where Creaticon’s products are sold, which have great potential and where these products are exceptionally well received, are Germany, Spain, Portugal, and Sweden. Creaticon’s cosmetic brands can be purchased in pharmacies across Europe, and in the region, they are available not only in pharmacies but also in dm stores and the company’s online shop, a channel that operates very successfully. Last year, Creaticon generated two and a half million euros, and this year it expects stable operations with a strong 30 percent growth.

Good Manufacturing Practice

In the six years since the launch of its first products, the company has grown to 34 employees in the departments of production, research and development, sales, marketing, logistics, and administration. The production capacity depends on the complexity of the product and the production technology, but it is approximately 200,000 units per product.

A new facility has been built according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) rules, and the company is currently preparing to undergo certification for ISO 22716.

Creaticon will soon open a production facility worth over three million euros, which will increase the production capacities required by the market. Concurrently, it will create new jobs and develop new products. Its leadership also plans a stronger penetration into existing markets, as well as opening new ones to support new investments in production and employment. It sees great potential in the German market, which, despite the recession, is very strong and where Creaticon’s cosmetics are in demand, as well as in Scandinavia, where it will launch a strong marketing campaign this winter for the recognition of Skintegra and Skinlick.
