The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa) has warned Croatian citizens and investors about the Taiwanese company Dryden Partners, which has recently been contacting citizens and offering opportunities for financial investments and retirement planning, and which is not registered in Croatia nor has Hanfa’s notification for the direct provision of such services in Croatia.
Hanfa states that this company offers a range of financial services, from financial consulting and trading in securities to asset management and retirement planning. However, a review of the company’s website did not establish that there is approval from the competent regulator for the provision of these services. Additionally, the company is not registered in the Croatian Court Register nor is it on the list of notified companies by Hanfa for the direct provision of services in Croatia, Hanfa notes.
This company, Hanfa emphasizes, does not have approval for providing investment or other services in Croatia that it mentions on its website. Furthermore, Hanfa does not have additional information about the operations of this company, nor is it competent to supervise the legality of its operations and cannot influence the protection of the rights and interests of investors who establish a business relationship with the company.
Therefore, Hanfa calls on investors in Croatia to exercise caution when entering into any business relationship with the aforementioned company, as stated in the announcement.
