Udo Müller joins Aircash as a minority owner

Udo Müller, an Austrian with over 20 years of experience in fintech sector and former CEO of Paysafecard, has joined the Croatian fintech startup Aircash as a new minority shareholder.

According to the statement, Müller studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Graz and holds an MBA in entrepreneurship, which he obtained from Danube University Krems. In recent years, he has actively shaped the online payment industry. At the age of just 25, he joined the then-startup Paysafecard, and ultimately remained with the Paysafe Group for nearly two decades, playing a key role in building Paysafecard into a leading global player in the online payment sector. In 2014, Müller was appointed CEO of the ecash division of Paysafe and held that position until 2022.

At Aircash, Müller will play a key role in the growth strategy. Over the next few years, he will lead the growth and management team of Aircash, focusing on enhancing product development and banking functionalities within the fintech sector. His vision includes expanding Aircash’s geographical reach, with a strong emphasis on Eastern Europe, Africa, and Latin America. This expansion will not only broaden Aircash’s business but also facilitate the company’s mission to make financing more accessible in underserved regions.

Additionally, Müller will also support future M&A (mergers and acquisitions) activities of Aircash.
