Kerum Real Estate Liquidated for 8.4 Million Euros

The Commercial Court in Split has received a letter from the bankruptcy administrator of Kerum d.o.o. listing all the real estate sold by the company to date, totaling 8.4 million euros, as well as a list of seven unsold properties currently valued at around 400,000 euros.

In the letter from bankruptcy administrator Natalija Mladineo, it is stated that 17 properties have been sold, among which the business building – department store in Zadar was liquidated for the highest price of 1.53 million euros, followed by the Šumski dvor complex in the elite Zagreb neighborhood of Cmrok, which was liquidated for 1.51 million euros and transferred to Zagreb entrepreneur Ivan Čermak in 2021.

Kerum’s building in Okrug on Čiovo was sold for 1.01 million euros, while the former Zagreb cinema Central in the center of Zagreb was liquidated for 993,397 euros and transferred to Ivan Čermak’s company.

Kerum’s pig farm in Drniš was sold for just over 465,000 euros, construction land in Supetar on Brač for 853,706 euros, and an apartment on Trg Kneza Višeslava in Zadar for 240,000 euros. The least amount, only 1,990 euros, was liquidated from the sale of a co-owned business space in Praška Street in Zagreb.

On the other hand, the report from the bankruptcy administrator mentions another seven unsold Kerum properties, including construction land in Lori recently valued at 136,928 euros, as well as land in Supetar, business space in Gruž, storage facilities in Zadar, and arable land and a bakery in Drniš. The valuation of land in Čiovo and in Stari Grad on Hvar has not yet been completed.

The report from the bankruptcy administrator followed the recent advertisements for the sale of Kerum’s storage facilities in Zadar, for which written offers will be opened at a hearing scheduled for October 6. The sale of four storage units, totaling about ten square meters, has been advertised in the daily press and on court pages, with starting prices ranging from 2,289 to 2,522 euros.

The properties will be sold in the bankruptcy process by collecting written offers, and in the event that two or more bidders submit the same written offer, a public auction will be held on the principle of ‘who bids more’. The sale is conducted on an ‘as is’ basis, which excludes all subsequent buyer complaints, as stated in the advertisement.
