Premiere of the Film about the Trokut NEET Academy

The Šibenik Trokut today presented the successes of Trokut NEET Academy to the public through the premiere of a film directed by Tomislav Dugandžić from Studio Redrum. Dugandžić has already won the hearts of the Šibenik audience with his talent and passion for filmmaking!

All attendees were greeted by Jurica Cindrić from Highmoon media, who was also part of the team behind the film’s preparation.

During the 20-minute film, all present could see firsthand how the Trokut NEET Academy was created and how it is developing. Former participants, mentors, partners, and organizers from Trokut shared their experiences, including Diana Mudrinić, director of Trokut, and Ivan Šoda, assistant director for IT and education.

Employees of Intuite Consulting, partners in the Data Science Academy, also spoke in the film.

At the premiere, Trokut’s director Diana Mudrinić addressed the audience, highlighting that “trends tell us that retraining is the future to keep pace and become competitive in the IT field. Trokut opened three years ago, and the idea for the Trokut NEET Academy was born three years ago. I congratulate and thank all the partners who helped us achieve this, as well as all former and future participants of the academy.”

Hrvoje Jerković, a data consultant at Intuite Consulting d.o.o., a partner of the Data Science Academy, then addressed the participants.

– I came to Trokut looking for a coworking space and learned about the Academy, which aims to retrain young people exactly for the professions I am involved in. After that, I met my future employers, who are partners at the Academy. That’s how my story began. Providing opportunities for people with no prior knowledge has proven to be a winning combination given the way the academy is organized – said Jerković.

Future participants of the Academy were also present at the film presentation, taking this opportunity to get firsthand information and meet some of the lecturers, former participants, and each other.

In conclusion, the director stated that Trokut has aimed to be more than just a physical space since its inception, and that we have succeeded in forming a community of individuals, entrepreneurs, like-minded people, and those who will take positive steps forward. We are also pleased that now, in addition to Trokut, our community includes PIN and iNavis, and that a workshop for creating a local development strategy in fisheries from our client FLAG Lanterna will be held tomorrow at iNavis.
