In less than two weeks, Zadar will become the center for developers, startups, tech experts, and many other professionals and enthusiasts participating in the third edition of Infobip Shift for two days.

The conference will cover a rich content agenda, including the most current topic of artificial intelligence technology and its impact on the developer profession, as well as other topics in the modern software industry, such as web development, API solutions, and cloud programming.

On the stage of Infobip’s Startup Tribe, startups will also be represented, with a special program where they will present the most innovative upcoming companies to the public and potential investors. As explained by Nikola Pavešić, Infobip’s new director for developer relations and startups, this year, over fifteen investors from various countries (Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, USA, Estonia) will be brought to the Infobip Shift stages, as well as various funds, such as early stage and corporate venture capital.

– This year has proven to be challenging for the global tech sector, and it is now more important than ever for conferences to connect and empower individuals and companies in the industry. Infobip Shift is already one of the largest developer conferences in Europe, and I believe this year’s Croatian edition will further solidify Shift’s position as an unmissable event on the international tech scene – said Pavešić.

Over 80 speakers from some of the largest global developer companies will present on seven stages. Among them are experts from Microsoft, Google, Cisco, GitHub, and Red Hat.

– In full-day workshops, participants will be able to learn about the latest developer tools, while 30 prominent companies from the domestic and international tech industry will have their exhibition space in the EXPO hall – announced Mirna Opolcer, head of the Shift team at Infobip.

The conference will be opened by a well-known name in the gaming industry, John Romero, who is often referred to as the father of first-person shooter (FPS) video games. A novelty is that visitors will have the opportunity to play Doom live with Romero, the popular game he created and in which he has only lost once so far.

The upcoming edition of Infobip Shift on September 18 and 19 at the Višnjik Sports Center in Zadar will be the second conference this year, following the American premiere in Miami last May, which gathered around five hundred visitors. Organizers now expect as many as five thousand visitors in Zadar, members of the developer and tech community, but increasingly also experts from all other industries. After Croatia and the region, according to the number of applications received so far, visitors from Germany and Sweden are leading, and organizers have been recording an increasing number of arrivals from Scandinavia and Western Europe over the years.

– From the opportunity to drive a Porsche to enjoying the afterparty on the beautiful Zadar coast, we will strive to ensure that all participants relax and have fun in an atmosphere unique to a tech conference this year as well – announced Nikola Radišić, head of the Shift team responsible for production.
