Fintech Evolution and Creative Design: Hrvoje Ćosić and Duje Stojak Open the First Split TGG Meetup

The first Split The Geek Gathering MeetUp features fintech icon Hrvoje Ćosić and world-renowned designer Duje Stojak in a dual presentation as an introduction to the major conference ‘The Geek Gathering’ which will be held this year in Osijek on October 5-6, 2023.

With the aim of creating a community that will gather for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and networking, the Association The Geek Gathering organizes MeetUps throughout Croatia all year round. This time, it is Split’s turn to become the center for enthusiasts, experts, and lovers of technology, innovation, and everything related to geek culture. The Split MeetUp is the result of collaboration with Codeasy, a company that offers clients all phases of software development using AI technologies.

The TGG MeetUp organized by Codeasy will take place on Thursday, September 7, starting at 7 PM at the Gallery lounge & more located at Kralja Tomislava 15, Split.

All attendees will have the opportunity to listen to two excellent speakers on interesting topics:

Hrvoje Ćosić, founder and CEO of the first and fastest-growing Croatian fintech company Aircash, will talk about the future of digital payments and the revolution that Aircash brings to global finance. The Aircash mobile application (a well-known multi-currency mobile wallet) is used daily by nearly 500,000 people, and the market has expanded beyond EU member states.

Duje Stojak from Jet Leg Studio will discuss Identity 2.0 and what the new form of identity being shaped in the digital world means. Given the increasing presence of people on social media, identity is becoming more complex and multi-layered, and Web3 technology further enhances it through interaction and personalization, opening new opportunities for individuals and companies to build their identity and communicate it in ways we could not have imagined before.

After the presentations, there will be time for networking where attendees can connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and gain new perspectives in the technological field. This event is an excellent opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange among those who share a passion for technology, programming, digital media, and other similar areas, and the organizers hope that this is just the first of many events in the city under Marjan.
