The Green Energy Cooperative (ZEZ) has called on individuals and legal entities from the Zagreb area and Zagreb County to participate in group procurement of solar power plants through the non-profit service Na sunčanoj strani at the beginning of July. The call for participation in the group procurement is open until August 10, and a larger number of participants will help achieve better procurement conditions for equipment and installation for all involved, according to a press release.
– We initiated the group procurement process with the aim of making the realization of solar power plants faster, simpler, and more cost-effective for everyone who is ‘struggling’ with understanding offers for equipment, choosing installers, securing installation dates, price changes, and other current market issues. We have tested the group procurement twice so far, and the support we provide at every step of the realization through the Na sunčanoj strani service has proven to be a key benefit, explained Veselina Harabajs, the business development manager of the Green Energy Cooperative.
ZEZ’s group procurement involves the procurement of equipment and installation services for solar power plants. In collaboration with partner solar power plant installers from the Na sunčanoj strani service, the cooperative has prepared two procurement options for participants that differ in terms of the durability of equipment and services on the market, warranty periods, and post-installation support, as well as satisfaction with the equipment and installer from previous users of the Na sunčanoj strani service. The final quantity of equipment and the number of participants in the group procurement will determine the discount that participants will achieve by participating in this process of realizing solar power plants. Installations of solar power plants are planned until the end of 2023.
