At the top of the tallest skyscraper in Croatia, the 135-meter high Split Westgate Tower, a new AC Hotels by Marriott hotel has opened, which is part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, the global travel program of Marriott International. It was designed by renowned architect Otto Barić, and the hotel lobby is adorned with artworks by local authors, including works by the eminent Croatian artist Vatroslav Kuliš, according to the statement.
The contemporary minimalist design of the 214 rooms and suites allows guests to use the space in a way that suits them best, offering ample storage for luggage or a comfortable workspace. Hotel guests can enjoy views of the 1700-year-old Roman aqueduct that stretches alongside the hotel through the fully glazed tower, and each room offers a view of the sea and the city panorama.
In line with the Adriatic culinary scene, AC Hotel by Marriott Split offers Mediterranean cuisine flavors at the Laureto restaurant, led by Croatian chef Goran Šikić. Cumano Bar offers a variety of creative cocktails and timeless classics with a modern twist, including the signature AC Gin Tonic.
Other amenities include a 178 SPA with an indoor pool, sauna, and steam room, as well as 325 square meters of meeting space that can accommodate up to 240 people. Guests also have access to a gym with modern Matrix equipment.
