At the regular Assembly of HUP – Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, new leadership was elected. Petar Šimić from PRIMACOŠPED d.o.o. was elected president, and the vice presidents of the Association are Boris Antunović from Tehnoekspert d.o.o., Mira Hajdić from Elekta – C d.o.o., Mario Sekulić from Pinero d.o.o., Igor Škrgatić from Be – On Savjetovanje d.o.o., Manuela Šola from Komunikacijski laboratorij d.o.o., and Davorin Štetner from GP1 d.o.o.
HUP – Association of Small and Medium Enterprises is the largest association among 30 branch associations operating within HUP, and small and medium enterprises account for over 99% of the total number of entrepreneurs, employ nearly three-quarters of all employees in business entities, and generate three-fifths of total revenue. The importance of small and medium enterprises in the Republic of Croatia deserves an active association that will effectively represent their interests within HUP, to the public and all other stakeholders, while also working on better inter-sectoral cooperation.
– He thanked for the extraordinary and professional cooperation. Small and medium enterprises often represent the center of innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and market changes. Their agility and ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions enable them to be drivers of economic growth. However, necessary changes in legislation must provide opportunities for greater competitiveness and productivity of companies, while also protecting workers, said the outgoing president Igor Škrgatić.
