The Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds has awarded 45 new contracts from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, utilizing all funds from the call for financing projects for the preparation of documentation for the implementation of public projects in the field of green and digital transition.
According to a statement from the ministry, this is a call for ‘Preparation of project-technical documentation for projects in the field of digital transformation and green transition’, worth €21.24 million, which finances a total of 156 projects.
These projects include energy renovation or construction of energy-efficient public buildings, investments in solar energy, improvements in the field of mobility, digitization of various public systems, enhancement of infrastructure in protected natural areas, revitalization and preservation of cultural and historical heritage, among others.
With today’s awarding, the cycle of financial support that creates preconditions for the administrative readiness of projects across Croatia has been completed. All these projects at the local and regional level will initiate public investments in the field of green and digital transition of society and the economy, with a total value exceeding €500 million, the Ministry states.
