NEXE Awarded the Employer Partner Certificate Again

NEXE, the largest member of the regional construction materials manufacturer NEXE Group, has been awarded the Employer Partner certificate again by SELECTIO Group, the largest human resources consulting group in Croatia. Quality human resources, an employee reward system, availability of various material and non-material benefits, and the implementation of various initiatives related to employee health are just some of the good practices for which NEXE has been awarded this certificate for the second time.

– It is an honor to be among the best employers in Croatia. We are proud of our employees because we know they are our greatest asset. All employers know how difficult it is today to find and retain quality employees, and I am glad that, despite all the activities we carry out for our employees, this has not yet become a major problem for us. This recognition is just additional motivation for us to be an even better employer – said Velimir Vilović, a member of the NEXE Management Board for human resources, legal affairs, management systems, and occupational safety and health.

He reminded that NEXE Group has been continuously working for years on developing the competencies of its employees through various educational programs, including the launch of the NEXE Academy, which emphasizes focused development tailored to each employee.

The Employer Partner certification team observed NEXE’s HR system through the so-called ’employee lifecycle’ that tracks the employee experience through seven key stages: attraction and employment, onboarding and development, engagement and inspiration, transformation and growth, retention and well-being, departure and return, and HR strategic consulting. This evaluation for the first time equally considers two perspectives – the employer’s perspective and the employee’s perspective.

Based on the analysis of the achieved results, the development of processes in the area of HR strategic consulting and retention and well-being has been recognized. It was highlighted that the Human Resources function actively participates in decision-making that affects employees and in implementing strategic changes related to business.

The existence of an employee reward system whose elements are in line with best practices, the availability of various material and non-material benefits, and the implementation of various initiatives related to employee health have also been recognized. Regarding attracting new employees, initiatives aimed at approaching target groups in the labor market have been recognized, especially collaboration with universities and flexibility in certain parts of the process, which is crucial in today’s labor market conditions.
