Net assets of mandatory pension funds (OMF) amounted to 18.5 billion euros at the end of May, which is an increase of 187.4 million euros or 1 percent compared to the previous month, according to the monthly report of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa).
Four mandatory pension funds (OMF) had a total of 2.198 million members at the end of May, representing an increase of 3,639 members or 0.17 percent compared to the previous month, the report published on Wednesday states.
Bond investments of OMFs at the end of May amounted to 11.6 billion euros, or 62.5 percent of assets, thus their share increased by 0.2 percentage points on a monthly basis.
The representation of equity investments in the assets of OMFs increased by 0.1 percentage points on a monthly basis, amounting to 4 billion euros, or 21.5 percent of OMF assets at the end of May.
Domestic equity investments accounted for 12.6 percent, while foreign equity investments made up 8.9 percent of OMF assets.
Investments in investment funds amounted to 2.1 billion euros or 11.1 percent of assets, and their share in total assets increased by 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous month.
Cash and deposits constituted 3.2 percent of assets in May, amounting to 594.7 million euros, according to Hanfa’s monthly report.
