The average price of purchased arable land in the Republic of Croatia in 2022 was 27,689 kuna per hectare, which is 293 kuna more than in 2021, according to preliminary data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS) on the prices of certain categories of agricultural land – arable land, meadows, and pastures.
Statistics show that in 2022, the average price of purchased meadows was 16,444 kuna per hectare, which is 694 kuna less than the previous year, while the average price of pastures was 20,189 kuna or 1,709 kuna more.
The DZS explains that the data on the prices of purchased agricultural land were taken from the records of real estate transactions of the Tax Administration and that the data are collected exclusively for agricultural land used for agricultural purposes.
According to them, the values of any structures on agricultural land and inter-family transfers are excluded from the prices.
